Our Story

It started with a crush and ended with a production company. Founded by Maria Webb and Harry Knight, Falling Films began in 2018. With backgrounds in Film & TV, they began to collaborate on personal projects and haven’t stopped since.

When you have an idea, perhaps you imagine it as a sculpture, a painting or even a spreadsheet! When it comes to us, our ideas are always corn kernels, they are destined to become popcorn.

You start with a kernel of corn, you add oil and heat, and eventually, it just pops, ready to be consumed. Much like popcorn, we enjoy taking a kernel of an idea and then thoughtfully creating an environment for it until it can’t help itself but become a complete piece of popcorn, or should we say film, ready to share with you.

And like popcorn, our films are best enjoyed in the cinema.
